How You Do Anything is How You Do Everything

Hit the snooze button this morning? Rush through your workout? Grab a coffee on the run at Starbucks? Speed through the light because you’re running late for work? Check your social media every time you reach for your phone?

You get my drift.

How you do ANYTHING is how you do EVERYTHING.

If you start the day by procrastinating getting up, you’ll quickly run out of time to train. Because you sat on the couch mindlessly scrolling though your social media, you’re running late, so off you go to rush and get coffee, speeding your way to work.

It doesn’t have to be this way. You are simply making it this way. By your lack of discipline, you actually are creating more stress for yourself. There’s a saying: DISCIPLINE EQUALS FREEDOM. It’s 100% accurate.

If you bite the bullet and get up just 5 minutes earlier, never hit the snooze button, and get moving, you will accomplish more. If you give yourself the privilege of completing a high quality workout session each day, you will increase your energy and mental fortitude. If you sit down and eat mindfully, you will enhance your relationship with your food, your family, and your colleagues. If you reserve specific times for social media, and limit it to no more than 20 minutes a day, you will enjoy genuine human relationships with others.

Social media isn’t real. The person sitting across from you at the dinner table is. TV isn’t real, lifting weights is. Fast food is not food, but making your own breakfast with quality ingredients is.

How you do ANYTHING is how you do EVERYTHING.
